Curtis Paul “Noodle” Bordenave is a Marfa-based artist, born in New Orleans and shaped by Houston’s arts scene. Influenced by his Creole ancestry and The Menil Collection’s Cy Twombly room, he pursues a learning-by-living approach, exploring how emotions can be preserved within a painting’s surface. Through dated materials and psychedelics, he investigates the spiritual and nostalgic, transforming the weird into the wonderful and the visual into the poetic.
